(A) RadA co-purifies with His-tagged RadB, which was over-expressed in H. volcanii (H1450) and purified by metal affinity chromatography (IMAC). Other proteins identified also purified from the parental strain H1424 containing an empty vector, which was used as a control for non-specific binding to the IMAC column [26].
