Percentage of viable and apoptotic cells. Cells treated with mangiferin were analyzed for cell death using AO/ETBR staining. A total of 200 cells per treatment group were screened and analyzed for the differential uptake of AO/ETBR. Significant increase in induction of late apoptosis was observed at 50 μM (* p < 0.05), 70 μM (†p < 0.001), and 90 μM (‡p < 0.001).
