(A–B) Representative images of cell cycle analysis for the human HepG2 cells (A) and SMMC-7721 cells (B) infected with Scr-shRNA (top) or KPNA2-shRNA (bottom). (C–D) Cell cycle distribution in HepG2 cells (C) and SMMC-7721 cells (D) infected with Scr-shRNA or KPNA2-shRNA. Both cell types infected with lentiviruses expressing either Scr-shRNA or KPNA2-shRNA were cultured for 4 days and resuspended to seed into 6-well plates for another 48 hours of culture. Cell cycle analysis was performed with flow cytometry. The graph shows the mean ± SEM of the proportion of cells in the G1 phase, S phase and G2/M phase from three separate experiments (**p < 0.01).
