Rab5-GTP level is enhanced in Vps34-null cells. A Rab5 activity assay (antibody recognizes Rab5a) was performed in wild-type (WT) and Vps34−/− MEFs using the Rab5-binding domain (R5BD) of Rabaptin-5 fused to GST, which pulls down GTP-bound Rab5.
