HOIP is required for suppression of cell death and optimal NF‐κB activation in hepatocytes in response to various immune receptor stimuli. (A) Cell viability assay of primary hepatocytes from Hoip^flox and Hoip^Δhep mice with the indicated treatments. Cells were treated with 1 μg/mL of TRAIL, CD95L‐Fc, and poly(I:C) for 24 hours (n = 3 each). Unpaired two‐tailed t test was employed for statistical analysis. (B‐D) Primary hepatocytes were stimulated with 10 ng/mL TNF (B), 1 μg/mL poly(I:C) (C), or 0.5 μg/mL CD95L‐Fc (D) for the indicated times; and hepatocyte lysates were immunoblotted for the indicated proteins.
