HOIP is required for suppression of cell death and optimal NF‐κB activation in hepatocytes in response to various immune receptor stimuli. (A) Cell viability assay of primary hepatocytes from Hoipflox and HoipΔhep mice with the indicated treatments. Cells were treated with 1 μg/mL of TRAIL, CD95L‐Fc, and poly(I:C) for 24 hours (n = 3 each). Unpaired two‐tailed t test was employed for statistical analysis. (B‐D) Primary hepatocytes were stimulated with 10 ng/mL TNF (B), 1 μg/mL poly(I:C) (C), or 0.5 μg/mL CD95L‐Fc (D) for the indicated times; and hepatocyte lysates were immunoblotted for the indicated proteins.
