Permutational probabilities are shown for analyses of critical sustained swimming speed (Ucrit) and metabolic scope (Scope). The fixed factors were generation (Gen; F1-F3), developmental temperature (Dev; 23 °C and 29 °C), and test temperature (Test; 18, 26, 32, and 36 °C). Degrees of freedom (d.f.) are shown; note that Test for Ucrit has one extra d.f. because we used a quadratic term in the model. Please see main text for details of analyses.
