Virus neutralisation test using Nano-FMDV-HS+ and bioluminescence. Nano-FMDV-HS+ (A) and AvrII-O1K/OUKG-HS+ parental virus (B) were tested against a panel of 5 sera (see material and methods section) using the conventional virus neutralisation test assay. Luciferase assays were performed using 10 μl of supernatant taken from the Nano-FMDV-HS+ plate (shown in A) at 24 hpi and 48 hpi and the bioluminescent results were presented as heat maps (C and D, respectively). (E) The 48 hpi bioluminescent results for Nano-FMDV-HS+ presented as mean ± sd. Experiments were performed in duplicate.
