Cell lines include the following: human prostate cancer cell line (PC3), human prostate mesenchymal cell line (BPH1), and human leukemia cell lines (K562 and HEL). Cell viability (%) was determined by MTT assay to calculate the IC50. All the assayed compounds were dissolved in DMSO, with a final concentration of DMSO was less than 0.1%. Control cells were treated only with the medium containing 0.1% DMSO. Values were mean ± standard deviation of three independent experiments.∗∗P < 0.01.
