These phantoms are commercially available from third parties and most vendors. b Normalization and setup can also be performed with a fillable 1–2-l bottle making sure the phantom fills the entire axial and transaxial field of view. This phantom was designed by the NEMA NU 4 committee for advanced system acceptance testing and is available commercially from a number of manufacturers.
