HNSCC cells with increased miR-375 expression show reduced vimentin promoter luciferase activity. The vimentin promoter firefly luciferase construct was cotransfected with a Renilla luciferase construct into the UM-SCC-1 lines. The luciferase signals were measured with the dual luciferase reporter assay. The firefly luciferase signal of the vimentin promoter construct was normalized to the Renilla luciferase signal. ∗∗∗P < 0.001.
