Molecules employed and reaction scheme for the fabrication of composite antibacterial hydrogels in one single step. branched catechol-derivatized poly(ethylene glycol) cPEG was used to form hydrogels and mono catechol-derivatized poly(ethylene glycol) mPEG-Cat was used for model gel permeation chromatography (GPC) studies of the reaction.
