Antibiotic MIC is initially determined by E-tests. The effect of two others concentrations, on the bacterial adhesion, was investigated. The subMIC one corresponds to half of MIC and the PK/PD one reflects 10 times the MIC (in vivo efficacy of peak serum concentration).
