Adoptive transfer of TLR4−/− macrophages attenuated the exacerbation of dextran sulphate sodium (DSS) ‐induced colitis by ficolin‐A (FCN‐A). After macrophage depletion, mice were adoptively transferred with bone‐marrow‐derived macrophages (BMDMs) as described in the Supplementary material (Fig. S6).
