Regions are as follows: cingulate cortex (Cing), prelimbic cortex (PreL), infralimbic region (IL), and orbitofrontal cortex (OFC), primary motor cortex (M1), nucleus accumbens (core (AcbC) and shell (AcbS)), caudate putamen (CPu), extended amygdala (bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST), central amygdala (CeA), medial amygdala (MeA), and basolateral amygdala (BLA)), hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus (PVN), and dorsal hippocampal formation (dentate gyrus (DG) and cornus ammon (CA) regions CA1 and CA3).

Data were measured in nCi/g, shown as mean±SEM. Statistical analysis was performed by region-wise one-way ANOVA followed by Bonferroni’s correction; corrected p-values: *p<0.05; **p<0.01; ***p<0.001 vs nondependent rats. For details on treatment, see Materials and Methods.
