When scaled to correct for the receiver transducer’s frequency-dependent sensitivity, the amplitude of single OFP droplet signals can be related to the frequency of oscillation by a power-law fit of (fkHz)−2.072.(r2 = 0.89). A similar relationship can be experimentally derived for DFB droplets.
