Southern blot detection of telomere length among the transgenic wild type (TWT) and the dms3-4, fen1-1 dms3-4 and fen1-1 mutants. Genomic DNA was isolated from 14-day-old seedlings and digested with BfuCI. A telomere-specific sequence was used as the probe (left panel).
