A) A representative immunoblot for gp91phox subunit in the cortex of sham-, vehicle- and MRE-269- treated groups. B) Densitometric analysis showed that transient MCAO significantly increased gp91phox protein level in the ischemic cortex compared to the sham group, and the gp91phox level was dramatically decreased in the MRE-269-treated rats compared to the vehicle group.
