Networks of connected MPAs and MRs are coloured according to their size. Unconnected MPAs and MRs are drawn with larger symbols. Histograms represent the distribution of the number of outgoing (b,d) and incoming (c,e) connections per MPA. In (b) and (c), all MPAs are considered as donors while in (d) and (e) only MRs are considered as donors.
