Other prenyltransferases from Streptomyces. NovQ catalyzes dimethylallyl transfer to 4-HPP to give 3-dimethylallyl-4-HPP. Fur7 catalyzes the transfer of a geranyl group to 2-methoxy-3-methyl-flaviolin to yield 6-prenyl-2-methoxy-3-methyl-flaviolin. SCO7467 catalyzes dimethylallyl transfer to tryptophan to give 5-dimethylallyl tryptophan, which is further transformed to 5-dimethylallylindole-3-acetaldoxime by a flavin-dependent monooxygenase SCO7468. Finally, dehydration of the acetaldoxime presumably occurs to yield 5-dimethylallylindole-3-acetonitrile.
