RNA was isolated from purified adherent macrophages isolated from the perfused lungs of naïve and infected mice at 4 wpi. Expression of alternative activation markers (A) Arg1 and (B) Fizz1 (Retnla) and (C) Ym2 (Chil4), and classical activation marker (D) iNOS (Nos2) were measured in macrophages by qRT-PCR and normalized to Gapdh.
