Loop #L corresponds to the Lth brain mask refinement loop. Loop #0 corresponds to the performance of brain extraction without any refinement. Best results (highlighted in bold), specifically in terms of the overall agreement with manual delineation (Dice) and in terms of the proportion of true positive brain voxels included in the mask (recall), can be observed using the full method after repeating two times the refinement loop.
