List of MRF and MEF2 target genes

Target genes were classified according to Gene Ontology annotation. Some targets are represented in multiple categories. Uncharacterized genes are omitted here but are included in Supplementary Table S1. Myog indicates myogenin. Log₂(MT/GM) indicates the change in gene expression that occurs when C2C12 myoblasts differentiate into myotubes. Log₂(KO/WT) indicates the difference in gene expression between MyoD^-/- and wild-type primary myoblasts. Green symbolizes values equal to or less than -1, whereas pink indicates values equal to or greater than 1.
