Characterization and identification of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) cultured in vitro. (A) Under a phase contrast microscopy, HSCs exhibited a floating growth status at day 3, and the number increased greatly at day 7 (B). (C) Enzyme histo-cytochemical staining at 3 days showed most of the cultured HSCs expressed CD34 demonstrating the purity of the cultured HSC.
