Figure 1

Synthesis scheme and molecular structures for Ru-chrysin and Ru-thio-chrysin. (A) Schematic diagram represents the synthesis of Ru-chrysin and Ru-thio-chrysin from chrysin and thio-chrysin, respectively via reaction with bis [dichlorido (η6-p-cymene)] ruthenium(II). The molecular structures of Ru-chrysin (B) and Ru-thio-chrysin (C) were determined by X-ray diffraction studies. The hydrogen bonds are not shown in the figures to enhance the clarity of the molecular images. The symbols C, O, Cl, S and Ru represent carbon, oxygen, chlorine, sulfur and ruthenium, respectively. The numbers shown indicate the position of respective carbon atoms.
