Fig. 5 — KI effects on cytochrome c release. Rat liver mitochondria were incubated with KIs at 100-fold Cmax or the highest testable concentrations as indicated. Alamethicin was used to induce complete cytochrome c release, and its signal was set as 100. After 30 min, the mitochondria were pelleted and cytochrome c level in the supernatant was determined using an ELISA Kit. The drugs in the X-axis were listed according to their approval date.
