Phe 93 and Phe 94 of MytiLec-1 are shown as sticks, indicating that the surface loop of the protein at this point is truncated relative to other subdomains. (b) Stereo overlay of the individual subdomains of Mitsuba-1 and a single subdomain of Threefoil (shown in yellow). Differences between Mitsuba-1 and Threefoil are pronounced at the loop including Pro 24 and Pro 25, or equivalent residues.
