A–D, at 28 weeks of age, glucose clamp studies were performed as described under “Experimental Procedures” and previously (94). Mean glucose infusion rates over the 30-min steady-state period at the end of the study were used to estimate the steady-state glucose infusion rate (GIR). Data shown are mean ± S.E.
