CBF1 inhibition reduces chemoresistance to members of various drug classes. Glioma cells with blocked CBF1 are more sensitive to the treatment with EGF-R inhibitor AZD 9291 (mesylate), VEGF-R inhibitor Cediranib and PI3K/mTOR inhibitor PF-04691502 as compared with pLKO.1 control cells.
