Figure 2

Phylogenetic analyses of the genus Amdoparvovirus. Trees were built with amino acid sequences of the complete NS1 and VP2 proteins using the maximum-likelihood method19 based on the JTT25 (NS1) and rtREV26 (VP2) plus Gamma models. Viral species: Aleutian mink disease virus (AMDV, Carnivore amdoparvovirus 1), gray fox amdoparvovirus (GFAV, Carnivore amdoparvovirus 2), racoon dog and fox amdoparvovirus (RFAV, proposed Carnivore amdoparvovirus 3), red fox fecal amdovirus (RFFAV, proposed Carnivore amdoparvovirus 4) and skunk amdoparvovirus (SKAV, proposed Carnivore amdoparvovirus 5). The phylogenetic placement of RFFAV was manually indicated on the trees (dotted line) based on previous analyses.2
