A Class E PA was implemented for the transmitter for its capacity to maintain high efficiency with low DC input current and high AC output current into the tank circuit. The Class E PA was designed based on principles described by Sokal42. In the selection of the MOSFET, essential parameters included the low on-resistance (RDS(ON)), low output capacitance (Coss), and low gate threshold voltage (VGS(th)).
