The plot shows the partial IC50 curves used to estimate the binding constants of non-substrate ligands that exhibited inhibition. The fit of the curve to equation 3 gave IC50 values that by the methods used is twice the Kd (or Ki) for the inhibitory ligand [35]. No evidence of inhibition of the reductive half reaction was observed for AMP (7.6 mM), nicotinamide (68 mM), N-methyl-nicotinamide (7.8 mM), NR+ (7.3) mM), NMN+(2.6 mM) with values in parentheses indicating maximal concentration tested for evidence of inhibition.
