MRI showing dissection of the right internal carotid artery in the cavernous sinus (shown by the red arrow). A thrombosed false lumen of 1.5 × 1 cm, was seen. The thrombosed lumen was of intermediate signal intensity in and did not enhance with contrast. This was compressing the right cavernous sinus. Right internal carotid artery was significantly narrowed
