Reviewed by: CG WILSON 1
PMCID: PMC5532030

Paediatric Nephrology has distinguished itself as a distinct super speciality of Nephrology with many disease entities unique to paediatric population and still many other adult diseases traceable to their origin in childhood or in utero itself. The need for a separate book on Paediatric Nephrology, especially written in Indian context, has been recognised by Prof V Tamilarasi and the first edition of “Clinical Paediatric Nephrology” is of great benefit to medical fraternity is general and practising physicians in Paediatrics and Nephrology in particular.

Efforts have been taken to cover the day to day common topics in Paediatrics Nephrology eg. nephrotic syndrome, acute renal failure, urinary tract infection, vesico ureteric reflux and hypertension in children, in detail. Inspite of the exhaustive list of topics, the authors have succeeded in formulating the book as a powerful stimulus to its readers to read further.

This book could be read with advantage by postgraduates in internal medicine and paediatrics.
