Cancer-patient-derived MV induce a tumour-supporting phenotype in human macrophages. (a) Human macrophages were stimulated with MV isolated from cancer or control patients (50 µg/ml) for 24 h and gene expression of VEGFA, WNT5A and IL1B was measured by qRT-PCR (n = 4, *p = 0.004, **p = 0.041 with two-sided t test).
