tGFP labeled mitochondria injected into the spinal cord co-localize with mitochondrial markers. tGFP mitochondria were isolated from PC-12 cells and injected into the rat spinal cord. Antibodies against tGFP and the inner (A) (COXIV) and outer (B) (TOMM20) mitochondrial membranes show that the injected green fluorescence is intact mitochondria.
