Confluent airway epithelial cell monolayers were either left untreated or infected with RSV for 48 h in the presence of either vehicle or forskolin (20 μM). Cells were fixed and labeled for F-actin or cortactin. Note that RSV infection caused the appearance of disorganized apical actin filaments and increased apical cortactin labeling (arrowheads).
