(b) Human gastric cancer cells were treated with 15 μM CPT, 0.5 µg/ml DOXO, or in combination, for 24 h, and cell proliferation was evaluated using the CCK8 assay. (c) SGC7901 cells were treated with 15 μM CPT, 0.5 µg/ml DOXO, or in combination, for 24 h. Total proteins were analyzed using western blotting to detect the activation of PARP, caspase-3, caspase-7 and caspase-9, using ACTB as the internal reference. The gray ratio of each group was calculated, and the data are expressed as the mean ± S.E.M. of at least three independent experiments. **p < 0.01.
