Odd ratio was calculated as SPEA/SAEP (SP; number of singleton IS present nearby genes related to a specific GO term, SA; number of singleton IS absent nearby those genes, EP; number of expanded IS present nearby those genes, and EA; number of expanded IS absent nearby those genes).
