Expression of 9 of 13 glycolytic genes was elevated by hypoxic exposure of DRG neurons. Among these, Glut3, HK2 and LDHA expression was augmented by meclizine supplementation in the course of hypoxia. Expression of glycolytic genes was unaffected by meclizine under normoxic conditions. Values from 6 independent experiments were used to obtain mean±SEM. *P<0.05 indicates different from hypoxia.
