MS/MS comparison of select molecules from the cyclic lipopeptide molecular family. Molecules are arranged by increasing m/z. Sequence tags for each molecule are shown and color coded according to amino acid monomer. All molecules form a lactone linkage with the C-terminus of isoleucine (massetolide A and poaeamide B), leucine (bananamides 1–3), valine (orfamide A), or glutamic acid (tensin) to threonine (observed in the MS/MS spectra as DHB).
