HDAC2 is significantly lower in MDA-MB-231 cells compared to MCF-7 cells. Relative mRNA expression level of HDAC1, HDAC2 and HDAC3 was measured using qRT-PCR where β-actin was used as housekeeping gene. mRNA expression of each HDAC in MDA-MB-231 was normalised to HDAC in MCF-7 cells.
