Catalase elicited negligible inhibitory effect on ACh-induced vasodilation. Blocking of H₂O₂, a putative EDHF, with catalase (1000 units/ml) in combination with L-NAME and indomethacin in the eNOS−/− mouse ophthalmic artery did not produce significant attenuation of vasodilation. Values are expressed as mean ± s.e.m (n = 6 per group).
