Localization of key mitotic kinases in early mitosis. GIMEN cells were treated with YK-4-279 and stained with Aurora A, PLK1 and α-tubulin antibodies. Chromatin was visualized using DAPI. (A) Aurora A localised to centrosomes and spindle tubules in both DMSO and YK-4-279 indicating no abnormalities in sub-nuclear distribution. (B) PLK1 staining showing a similar pattern. Tubulin staining revealed appearance of normal astral microtubules.
