Schematic illustration of a HAdase-activatable theranostic system. A cationic conjugated polymer (PFEP) forms a complex with hyaluronic acid (HA) conjugated with a drug (DOX). Electron transfer (ET) from PFEP to DOX occurs in this complex, leading to a quenched fluorescence emission.
