C7 nerve root compression significantly decreases the withdrawal threshold of the forepaw ipsilateral to injury by day 1 (#p=0.004), for at least 7 days (#p<0.001) compared to baseline (day 0) thresholds. Compression also induces a significant drop (*p<0.010) in withdrawal threshold compared to sham on days 1 and 7. Data are represented as mean ± standard deviation (SD).
