To reveal the reason of improved growth performance, the jejunum (A) and ileum (B) mucosal morphology was observed. The villi lengths (V), the crypt depth (C) and the ratio of the villus length and crypt depth (V/C) were determined in jejunum and ileum (C). Values are means ± SE, n = 6.
