(A) Representative fluorescence images of the uptake of the perfusion marker Hoechst 33342 (blue), and immunohistochemical detection of the vascular endothelial marker CD31 (red), acquired from whole brain sections from mice bearing orthotopic SF188^luc tumors treated with vehicle or cediranib. Composite Hoechst 33342 and CD31 images acquired at 40× magnification are also shown, demonstrating both co-localisation and mismatch of the vascular markers. Tumor ROIs are shown in green, T denotes tumor region on the composite images. (B) Quantification of Hoechst 33342 perfused area, CD31 positive vessel area, and the percentage of vessels perfused.
