Effects of heat stress and LPS on the mitochondrial membrane potential in IEC-6 cells. IEC-6 cells were treated with LPS (1 µg/ml), heat stress (42°C for 60 min) or a combination of LPS and HS. The mitochondrial membrane potential was assayed by 5,5′,6,6′-tetrachloro-1,1′,3,3′tetraethylbenzimidazo carbocyanine iodide staining.
