With the exception of a significant main effect of Novelty in the hippocampus, there were no main effects or interactions between Novelty and Expression in these areas. Instead, significant effects primarily involved interactions between these variables and anxiety. Error bars depict within-subject variance, computed using the method described by Consineau (2005).
