RNA-Seq data for genes known to be selectively expressed by Tas1r3+ and type III taste cells based on evidence from the literature. “Marked cell type” = a cell type where the gene is reported to be expressed. “Log2FC” = fold change (Tas1r3+ vs. type III cells) in log2 scale. FDR = p values adjusted for multiple comparisons using false discovery rate (the Benjamini-Hochberg procedure implemented in the DESeq2 package).
